Addresses the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment. Coordinates patient care in the CVL and communicates extensively and continuously with physicians, other caregivers, patient and/or family or significant others.<br/><br/>Responsible for patient care delivery that promotes safety, comfort and well being of patients, while following the hospital established standards and practice. Facilitates optimal patient appropriate resource utilization. Assists with the maintenance of equipment and inventory.  Assesses procedure room for equipment functioning and readiness.  Obtains supplies for individual cases and ensures all appropriate needs of the CVL team are met.  Monitors, positions and assists patient during procedure.  Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.  Manages conflicts and competing imperatives.  Build customer loyalty among physicians, employees, and community.<br/><br/>Prefer a minimum of one year Cardiovascular Cath Lab experience. Prefer working knowledge of  Cardiovascular Cath Lab to include but not limited to equipment, 1st assistant scrub, hemodynamic monitor and circulator positions including ventilator management, pharmacology and IV therapy.
