We are in search of a Nurse Manager for the Cardiac Cath Lab. The ideal candidate will be self-directed and possess excellent interpersonal, time management, and problem solving skills. The Nurse Manager will direct the activities of the Cardiac Cath Laboratory Services, will plan, direct and evaluate the activities of the Cath Lab to ensure quality patient care and develop goals, policies and procedures. In addition, the Nurse Manager will prepare and submit the operating and capital expenditure budgets for the cardiac cath lab and participate in CQI and performance improvement activities.
In order to qualify for this the following criteria must be met:
* Bachelors Degree in Nursing, Masters Degree in Nursing preferred
* Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas
* Current Basic Life Support & Advanced Cardiac Life Support
* Previous Cath Lab, Critical Care, Quality Improvement and progressive managerial experience

Duties
1. Directs the activities of the Cardiac Cath Laboratory Services.
2. Administers, plans, directs and evaluates the activities of the Cath Lab to ensure quality patient care.
3. Develops goals, policies and procedures.
4. Prepares and submits the operating and capital expenditure budgets for the Cardiac Cath Lab.
5. Participates in CQI and performance improvement activities.
6. Provides some direct patient care as needed.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.
Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Denton, located in Denton, Texas, is a comprehensive, state-of-the-art facility, serving people across North Texas and Southern Oklahoma with 255 all-private beds. The hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO) and has a broad range of services, including Open Heart Surgical Services, The Center For Women, including midwifery and water births, A Comprehensive Cardiac Services Department with Chest Pain Accredited designation, Outpatient Surgical Services, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), 64 slice Computerized Tomography (CT), Bone-Density Screening, Wound Management/Ostomy Center, Hospital-based CareFlite, 28 all-private-bed Emergency Department, Accredited Mammography, Oncology Services, Physical Therapy, Lithotripsy, Sleep Studies and Sports Medicine.
