Qualifications:
Qualified candidates for the Case Manager RN - PRN position at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano, a Magnet facility, will possess the following:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

* Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (Associate degree in Nursing) - prefer Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
* Current RN License to practice in the state of Texas.
* Basic computer skills: MS Word, Excel, knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and competent with InterQual criteria.
* Three (3) years RN experience in an acute care or similar setting; Long term acute care (LTAC), Rehabilitation, or payer utilization review.
* Case management and utilization management with DRG experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Medical surgical, ICU or Telemetry experience desirable.
* Flexibility with schedule - to cover vacations, holidays, shifts
* Organizational, critical thinking, problem solving skills, and communication skills are essential.
* Self-directive, Familiar with Medicare, THC regulations.
* Understands and supports regulatory and accreditation compliant documentation.
* Team player, able to work in a dynamic, high stress group.
* Case management certification preferred.

Duties
Hours: Monday through Friday PRN: Between 8:00AM to 5:00PM, includes weekends - Saturday and Sunday as patient and department needs requires.
