MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1+ year direct RN experience within a hospital setting.

RN experience within a Nursery would be preferable.

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS

RN, State of Texas License is required.

Current BLS NRP is required.

Duties
This position is a wonderful opportunity to work with moms and new babies with their first experience. Our Nursery is a great place and our employees put their best effort into exceptional care. The chosen applicant will be working with new moms, new babies, families, friends and excellent support staff and physicians.

Shift available: Prn (as needed) rotating.

Must possess knowledge of respective clinical area to include all equipment used, infection control, regulatory requirements, universal precautions and all other skills, including pharmacology and IV therapy, related to patient care delivery.

Knowledgeable and sensitive to patients' rights in the delivery of care.

Communicates in a clear, concise manner appropriate to the development stage of the patient.

Demonstrates exemplary customer service skills.

Shows sensitivity when interacting with patients, families, physicians, and co-workers.

Exhibits clarity of roles and scope of responsibility, authority, and accountability to ensure departmental commitment to service excellence.
