Qualifications:
Texas Health Presbyterian Dallas, a magnet facility, is currently in search of a PACU Registered Nurse.
As an RN in our department you will have the opportunity to advance your skills by providing comprehensive and collaborative nursing care for post-operative patients utilizing a multidisciplinary approach.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
The qualified candidates will have:
2 years RN experience in an acute care setting
ACLS required, PALS preferred
Strong patient assessment and time management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
Strong computer skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
2 years experience in PACU
ICU or PACU experience preferred, but will train the right individuals with strong med surg experience.
*Certification in Post Anesthesia Nursing desirable
Hours/Schedule: PRN

Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas is an 866-bed hospital located just north of downtown Dallas. We are a community-based hospital serving as a referral center for North and East Texas. There are more than 1,200 physicians on our medical staff, and we offer a full range of care including services for cancer, cardiovascular problems, neuroscience needs, orthopedics, senior care and women's services. From our Stereotactic Surgery Program for Parkinson's disease to our Gamma Knife for treating tumors, we are able to offer a wide range of services to care for complicated medical conditions, which make our facility intensely qualified to serve our community and your professional aspirations.
