Texas Health Harris Methodist HEB Hospital (THHEB) has initiated a search for a Nurse Manager of Ambulatory Care to carry-on a tradition of healthcare excellence. Located in Bedford, Texas Health Harris Methodist HEB Hospital is an integral component of a large metropolitan city brimming with both old-world charm and modern wonders. As a member of the largest healthcare system in North Texas, THHEB offers an excellent environment for the healthcare professional looking for more.
The Nurse Manager of the Ambulatory Care Unit reports to the Director of Surgical Services and will provide overall direction for a dynamic, Ambulatory Department that saw approximately 7,000 patients this year. This motivated individual will oversee 23 full-time employees, 24 hour accountability and budgetary responsibility.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• A Bachelor's degree in Nursing and current Texas RN License
• Five years clinical experience with progressive leadership or management experience in an acute care setting as well as previous experience in Ambulatory Care.
• Experience with identifying operational efficiency and process improvement through use of Lean Six Sigma methodology
• Develop and implement processes to enhance clinic operations and practices for ongoing quality improvement.
• Experience with mentoring and training staff to assume leadership roles
• Must be a financially accountable individual with excellent people skills including strong Physician relationships
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Master's Degree in Nursing
