Minimum Education Requirements:
Associates Degree required
Bachelors Degree preferred
Minimum Licensure/Certification Requirements:
RHIT or RHIA required
CCS Preferred
Minimum Experience Requirements:
3 years supervisory experience in Health Information Services Management
Minimum Skill Requirements:
Excellent PC both hardware and software, strong verbal and written communication, problem solving, critical thinking, knowledge of 3M Coding applications and other software app.
Duties
1. Manage coding staff
2. Coordinates, Communicates, and Develops/Maintains Relationships with other Departments, Physicians and Vendors.
3. Management of Cost Center/Department Budget
4. Ensure Data Quality, Integrity and Privacy of Medical Records
5. Perform other duties as assigned
